A conference focusing on the commercial opportunities of staging the 2012 Olympics in London will take place at The O2 from 2-3 June.
Coolconf will take place at indigO2 and features a line-up of business and tourism speakers. Organised by R3 Events and Mash Media, programme highlights include Lessons Learnt from the Manchester Commonwealth Games by Marketing Manchester Chief Executive Andrew Stokes and The Olympics Act - What does this mean for SMEs? by LOCOG's brand protection lawyer David Powell.
Visit London Head of Business and Coventions Tracy Halliwell will speak on the importance and benefits of signing up to the Olympic Fair Pricing Charter and VisitBritain will host a session on the wider role and opportunities for the UK. Visit London former Commercial Director David Hornby said: "Having the right information and the right timescale will allow both Games-related businesses and suppliers the opportunity to fully understand each others' needs and prepare fully. Our role is to work with a wide range of stakeholders to make sure the right information is out there and this will be communicated through our own events as well as events such as this."
