O2 and EA (Electronic Arts) are lined up to speak at this month's Excite conference about their experiential marketing strategies.
The Excite show takes place at Earls Court from 24-25 June. The Excite conference sessions will be chaired by Visit London Contributing Editor Mike Fletcher and will take place throughout the first day of the exhibition and during the morning of the 25 June.
O2 Head of Events John Worthington and Sledge Chief Executive Nic Cooper will open the conference by discussing the value of experience marketing in a recession. In the afternoon EA Head of Retail and Experiential Marketing Penny Humphrey will then team up with Circle Agency Managing Director Claire Stokes to provide an insight into staging a long-term live product launch campaign using creative brand experiences and celebrity involvement. Other conference highlights will include sessions on developing more integrated campaigns using social media and getting a return on event marketing investment.
On the morning of the second day, George P Johnson will present how leading brands are using experience marketing as the cornerstone of their brand strategy and RPM will discuss the Smirnoff Nights on-going campaign. A panel discussion featuring agencies Imagination, TRO Group and Mobile Promotions will debate the future role of experiential in automotive marketing strategies to close the conference on the first day.
