The London Eye brings the seaside to the city

The London Eye is planning a month-long seaside-themed landscape and summer flight packages.

From 26 July to 25 August, event planners will be able to gain access to the attraction's planned City Seaside-themed environment along with proposed Pimm's and lemonade flight packages. The theme, created by agency Innovision, will consist of a giant sandcastle sculptured in the base of the wheel. Traditional British seaside games such as quoits, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4 will also be provided. Guests will be able to pose with a traditional beach peep board or lounge on deckchairs with ice cream or seaside rock.

Visitors on Saturdays will see entertainment from street acts performing seaside-themed antics although these will not form part of corporate event hire. Pimm's and lemonade flight packages will be available to the public until 07 September and cost £28 per head.

Private hire flights over the summer are priced at £430 for the sole use of a capsule. Pimm's and strawberries are then laid on, costing £17 per head.

London Eye capsules can accommodate between three and 25 guests.
