Park Plaza Westminster Bridge plans 2,500m² of events space
London's largest new hotel development will open in 2010 offering 2,500m² of meeting space.
Park Plaza Westminster Bridge will include a 1,250m² Grand Ballroom to accommodate 1,250 delegates theatre-style or 1,000 guests for dining. It will also have 30 syndicate rooms, a signature restaurant, sushi bar, lounge bar and a luxury spa.
Located near London's South Bank and directly opposite the Houses of Parliament, the 1,021-room property is currently under construction. The four-star hotel is being built to the highest green standards. It will feature a biomass generator to reduce energy use by 20% and an on-site water bottling plant.
Park Plaza is part of the Carlson Hotel Group. It currently owns five properties in the capital featuring 2,500 rooms.
