Visit London has strengthened its specialist Event Solutions team with the appointment of former Lotus UK Account Manager Paul Black.
Black joins Visit London's 12-strong business and conventions team as UK and Ireland Sales Executive on 5 May. He has a remit to drive business events to the capital from the rest of the UK and Ireland and to offer free and impartial advice on unlocking London's event planning secrets to organisers.
He will report into UK Sales and Event Solutions Manager Zanine Adams and replaces
Peter Spring, who has moved across to join VL's partnerships team as Business Development Manager.
Welcoming the appointment, Adams said: "We are delighted that Paul will be joining the Visit London team, we needed a highly skilled and experienced person to help promote the economic benefits of London to the UK and Ireland, and drive our face-to-face activities. Paul fitted the bill perfectly."
