Tiger Beer's 2008 series of Translate parties concludes in London
Tiger Translate, the global series of experiential parties by Tiger Beer took over a London underground car park on 20 September for a mix of Asian art and music.
Managed by agency RPM, the final leg of the beer brand's 2008 initiative to highlight Asia's creative talent and nurture collaboration with Western artists, took place in Hearn Street car park in London's East End.
London Event Captures Vibrancy and Intrigue
Visitors engaged with Tiger Beer brand values via the overall party theme: Voyage.
The artists and acts had been asked to visualise the journey that each bottle of Tiger takes from its home in the Far East and to capture the vibrancy and intrigue of Tiger's Far Eastern heritage in their work. The headline act featured international DJs The Nextmen and Patchwork Pirates
Other highlights included a London Hackney cab painted in Tiger brand colours, an art wars competition between graffiti artists and emerging beatbox talent Reeps 1.
Following the event, the artworks that were completed during the evening are being showcased on a tour of local Shoreditch nightspots Cargo, Cantaloupe and Alphabet Bar.
The Tiger Translate series began in Dublin on 5 June. They have since been staged in 14 cities worldwide over the summer months.
