European Events, part of the European Group, has won a contract to stage 2009 summer events in the moat surrounding the Tower of London.
The contract, awarded by Historic Royal Palaces will see a temporary structure erected in the North Moat and a garden reception area designed for the West Moat.
From June to July 2009, European Events will host events in a semi-permanent structure, able to accommodate 800 seated or 1,200 for a reception. The chosen catering for a range of summer functions will be supplied by Essence.
European Group chief executive Christopher Palmer-Jeffery said: "It will be a real honour to stage events in such a prestigious location and I'm delighted for the team that we've been able to secure a contract with such rich content possibilities. We've opted not to theme the structure interior but instead, we will showcase our creativity and elegant summer décor."
