Trafalgar Events opens in central London

Trafalgar Events, a new meetings venue in the heart of London recently opened at 8-9 Northumberland Street.

Some 150 guests attended the opening. Caterer Dish provided canapés and bowls of mini Thai beef salad and hot prawn cocktails.

The party stretched over each of the venue's five floors with a different colour theme on each floor. The top floor was a tranquil blue and offered massage in cool surroundings. On the green floor below, guests could indulge in Dish’s Canapé Bar with some calm conversation. The Orange floor hosted entertainment from a magician and caricaturist, whilst the deep purple lower ground was transformed into a club room with white leather sofas and a cocktail bar serving purple 'Trafalgar Cocktails'.

Located by Trafalgar Square, and just two minutes from Charing Cross station and Embankment underground station, Trafalgar Events is available for meetings, conferences and hospitality.

The venue's AV facilities include drop down projection screens, built-in PA systems and state-of-the-art lighting, all controlled by convenient panels. Its meeting rooms have natural daylight and full environmental controls.

Former Conference Manager at Regent's College, Clare Arouche is heading up the business. She said of the opening night: "We've had some great comments from people who really appreciate the style and ethics of the venue and can see that it can be used for a number of different events from conferences to sit down dinners. We have the perfect central location and if people don't want to buy into a themed shared night but don't have budgets for big venues, Trafalgar Events is the perfect solution."
