Veeraswamy
Veeraswamy, Britain's oldest Indian restaurant has shut for business for a striking transformation, reopening the end of October 2005. The restaurant which started trading in 1926 is being styled befitting its vintage with luxury and sumptuousness of the twenties and thirties. It was a time when Maharajas, British Army Colonels and old India hands would get off a PO liner in London and come for their first meal to Veeraswamy.
